  • I purchased my garage door through Lowes as I trust their performance. I was contacted, without prior knowledge of who would install the door, by a representative from Lodi Garage Doors & More. This was one day after I signed the contract at Lowes in South Scottsdale. An appointment was negotiated for their company to send a man out to measure the door and a follow up for inspection for lead contamination on the old door. Both individuals actually showed up earlier than what was agreed upon, which made me happy as I could then go on with my life without waiting for them until the afternoons. I was told initially that it would take about 3 to 4 weeks to get the manufacture and installation accomplished. To my surprise I received a phone call just a couple days later that I could have my door. A bigger surprise awaited me when "one" worker showed up with a pickup truck (exactly on the time agreed upon) and let me know that this job was a "piece of cake" as he has had many years of experience. So it was. He backed the truck up under the old door, dismantled it and dropped it onto the back of the vehicle; assembled the new door, installed the roller tracks, installed the door opener and attached the door to it. He previously built an entirely new frame for the garage door and after installation sealed the top and sides. An absolutely beautiful job and it took that one person a total of five hours. He then briefed me on maintenance care and safety,and then gave me a quick lesson on operating the mechanics. I was so damned pleased with everything that I gave him a nice big tip that I would have reserved had two or three workers shown up. The entire time from contact with Lowes to the time of installation took only two weeks. Thanks Lodi, I have your warranty ..... hope I don't have to call you on it.
