Yay, bowling. Favourite pastime of Fred Flintstone and Homer Simpson.
This one isn't any different from the ones you've been to in high school (when there was nowhere better to hold a party!)
I never knew there was a bowling alley in this plaza at Cummer and Yonge. It's a bit hidden, in the basement, and this plaza really needs an update.
But despite it's shady appearance, there's free parking, and a CongeeTime (one of the CongeeWong afflialites) and Arc De Triomphe cafe (the HK Style cafe moved from Leslie and Finch) - great place to grab some food before or after.
The actual bowling alley is your typical one. Friday night, after 8pm they started Cosmic Bowling (ooooo.... ) which includes black light and some lasers.
Shoe rentals are $3.50 each, but they didn't seem to care if you where them or not. The guy working there was unimpressed and indifferent.
They have a lot of different types of beers including Guinness in a bottle.
Food was fries, and hotdogs. I would highly suggest you go elsewhere.
We were there for about 3.5 hrs and it was $180 for 2 lanes. It's by the hour, so i would suggest you all play quickly and wisely.
A good diversion from Bubble Tea in the area.
