Tried this place out after several failed attempts to find a cocktail dress at more mall type locations. A friedn had driven by here a few times and mentioned she always had meant to check it out. I decided to give it a try and was thrilled to see they were open on a holiday Monday of a long weekend.
The store is a little overwhelming at first as there are SO many dresses from prom and bridesmaid options, to formal wear. They have a great range of sizes and styles to suit every age. I was looking for a shorter cocktail dress and they had several styles to choose from. They seemed to have even more "long" formal dresses though.
There was only one sales lady working but she managed to go back and forth between me and the other girl (who was shopping for a prom dress with her parents). She encouraged me to try on a few things I never would have thought about and made some good suggestions based on my "rules". She offered feedback on each dress about what she liked and didn't. Once she started to get a feel for what looked good and didn't, she found other options to add to my things to try on. She was never pushy and I actually found her to be quite honest and helpful.
The change rooms don't have mirrors so you have to come out of them to see how you look. The store itself is a bit dated and nothing fancy compared to some of the other formal wear places in town. That didn't matter to me though.
Prices were reasonable, ranging from $99 to well over $500. I will definitely return if I have to go through the drama of buying a formal dress again.
