The staff at The Furshire loves dogs and cats; they treat them like their own children. Each animal has their own "room", rather than being kept in a tiny crate. Also, they provide 1 hour of "cuddle time" each day for each animal. Otherwise, it begins to depend on the animal's personality. My dog was abused and never socialized well, so he doesn't get along well with others. So he's kept away from the puppies and playful dogs. Instead, he's kept with elderly dogs; he stays calm around them. The first time I took my dog there, he was scared because he wasn't used to the place. But now he pulls on the leash trying to get in the front door. So they must be doing something right cuz he's just as happy to be at The Furshire as he is to be here at home.
