Tao Beach is an experience. Not the best in Vegas but you can have a good time. There is one pool and it was extremely crowded, even with us getting there by 12:30. If you don't have a Cabana or spot around the pool, there is no place for you to stand or hang out. The DJ was cool and the crowd was fun. There are no drinks allowed in the pool, so the majority of the time all we heard was the "lifeguard" whistling at people to go to the side of the pool with their drinks. The most annoying thing was the 20 beach balls in the small pool that the men (12 year old boys) couldn't get enough of trying to hit each other in the head with- which meant you were also in the middle of that. We were on Chris Hornack's guest list, so we got free entry and free drinks, which made it tolerable for me.
