  • Alright kids, let's cut straight to the chase here; Daily Dose (Double D) Midtown is without question our (my wife and I's) favorite, guaranteed great experience eatery in the PHX metro area. My wife and I do a great deal of international traveling for work and fun, which means our exposure to amazing food is prevalent. And as a former 300lb man, I can assure you that my addiction to food is, surely, only marginalized when compared to a toothbrush armed meth-head focused on a filthy grout line. Food is my black-tar, and Double D is my Syringe. Now, I'm not going to insult any of the other foodies out there by trying to compare Double D to a 5-Star experience, because it's not - neither in presentation or atmosphere, but what it does have is unrivaled consistency, creativity, and made-in-house goodness. The customer service experience is always exceptional, helping to reinforce our love for Dub-D-Delight! Let's talk food. Avocado covered Bacon Omelette...Dope. Made-in-House berry preserves...Redic. Taste bud-gasmic made-in-house ketchup....WHAT!? Unicorn Tusk infused Buttermilk pancakes (slightest crunch on the outside, soft and magical on the inside)...Sensational. Egg white omelette with made-in-house turkey sausage...mind=blown! Protein pancakes that don't make you call into question your decision to pretend to be healthy...legit! Pretzel bun'd - Angel tear glazed Daily Dose Burger intoxication...radical. If you like witty repartee with wait staff, managers, and owners who like to laugh and are not afraid to share their honest opinions about life, their bat shit crazy dogs, travel, and just about any mildly offensive topic of choice - then this is your mutha friggin holy land. Really great people, with really great attitudes. If you are are a quiet, pretentious recluse who is used to consuming boxed waffles and drinking syrup from the bottle, then stay away - for you will surely be disappointed by the annoying fact that DD is not located in a graveled trailer park lot. The best thing I can say about Daily Dose, is that we keep coming back for more. We bring friends, family, and colleagues with us as often as possible, and the results are always the same; complete satisfaction. Keep doing you DD - and we will continue to publicly glutton ourselves in your house of worship. ;)
