This was my first time at Yonaka and I was very surprised. The environment is very laid back and the menu with daily specials. Our waiter was well versed in the menu and made some great suggestions for us. One of which was the calamari which was delicious. We also had the crispy brussel sprouts which were sweet and crispy. We ordered mostly from the happy hour menu which is just as diverse as their traditional menu. They have a couple of cocktails on their happy hour menu that are sake based and very tasty. I would venture to Yonaka again and would try the chefs tasting menu next time to get a better feel of their vision.
