I used to come here semi-regularly, because I lived nearby. The owner was a bit pushy about his raw food philosophy (and product), but he was nice enough.
I went there today. The owner was in a different part of the store and didn't hear me come in. He was speaking with a customer who was apparently a tourist. The owner: "Don't base your opinion of Toronto on this neighbourhood. It's one of the worst f***ing neighbourhoods in the city. People don't even say hi to you on the street."
I promptly walked out of the store, never to return. Buddy, if you're going to run a small neighbourhood business, it's not a good idea to badmouth your neighbours in public, no matter how you feel.
