Once I landed at McCarran Airport, my friend picked me up and gave me three options for lunch. Island Flavor was the winner! I was craving Hawaiian, after all. Kevin said the place is typically busy during the week, so I'm glad we easily found an empty table on the Sunday afternoon that we visited.
We decided on a half pound of ahi poke and an order of furikake shrimp. The waiter asked if we wanted a half or full pound of poke, and even though I had to resist, I'm glad we said half pound. It was plenty of food for two people. I wasn't a huge fan of the shrimp, but I could tell it was expertly made. The crispiness was on point. I also loved the freshness of the poke. Overall solid meal!
