  • I tried a lunch combo, pulled pork and brisket with mac n cheese and potato salad. I also wanted a sweet tea, which was never made in time for my visit. I was not impressed. The pulled pork was not at all pulled, it was chopped. Not a single piece had any fat, bark or irregular shredded shapes. it was boring dry sliced/chopped meat. The brisket was sliced very thin, cold, tough and had minimal smoke ring, bark etc. The sauce on both was too sweet for my taste. The sides were mediocre. The mac n cheese a bit too watery, tasting more of black pepper than cheese and the potato salad dry and bland. It all came with a dry toasted little dinner roll. Service was minimal, the guy at the podium seemed annoyed to take my order. Order and pay in advance at the podium and the food brought to your table. No one asked me how anything was after the food was brought. They have annoying tiny flimsy horrible plastic cutlery. I would avoid returning just to never have to use those awful plastic forks again. I may try the ribs someday but am in no rush and certainly wont go out of my way for it.
