  • Unless I am in Vegas, I don't particularly partake of buffets. No matter what I always feel like fat, overfed cattle moving through a stampede. However, Vegas seems to have refined the buffet experience almost turning them gourmet. The Wynn is my best example of that. Dining in a room that speaks of a Parisian ice cream shoppe adorned with delicate shades of lavender, mint green, and creams one feels calm and tranquil. The selection is unbeatable. At breakfast you can have all the classics along with pizza, Chinese selections, sea food, or a made-to-order omelet. The food is actually rather high quality. Nothing tastes cafeteria like, stale, or cheap. The best is the carved-to-order bacon station during breakfast. The service is always attentive and prompt always offering a fresh beverage and clearing off plates. The only reason I dock one star is that I dined for breakfast on a weekday, and it wasn't nearly as impressive. Its very obvious that the usually level of care and consideration was simply not there. Granted, it was about half price and we didn't wait in a 45 minute line, I was let down. Overall I think the best buffet in Vegas. Even if you are not staying here, its worth a cab ride down to savor the selections.
