  • Bought a pair of Brooks Walkers with V strap for $129.95 for my husband exclusively for his work place with crate flooring and 12 hour shifts. He wore them one night and could barely walk at the end of his shift. Had a nasty blister on the inside arch of the left foot. Went back to the store. The manager took them to a back room to "examine" them? He was gone for quite sometime and when he came from the back room he showed us the shoes were not acceptable for return after only one time of twelve hour wear. He pointed out at the inside heel where the fabric had pilling. I felt the surface in question and they were also wet ! I have worked with fabrics professionally for years and the only way those shoes could have displayed such damage on the inside heel is if someone took a wire brush to make them to pill. Interesting how the manager disappeared with the shoes to a "back room" when he should have inspected them right in front of us! Beware of buying shoes from this "Arizona Walk Shop" as they are not even members of the Better Business Bureau. Lesson learned always check out reputations at the BBB.
