  • The Hangover (it was a movie other yelp reviews referenced but I had to say it too, sorry for the overkill) is probably the epitome of a great Vegas weekend or one that has gone seriously wrong. For those of you fortunate enough to have visited the playground in the desert or better yet live there then you probably get what I mean. Cesar's is at a central location for you to meet up, play, stay, etc. I'm sure the style hasn't changed much with its classic Roman architecture and theme over the last 50 years but there have been some upgrades as expected. I went on one of my annual guys only trips and this year my cheap ass friends ponied up some dough and decided to live the sweet life at Cesar's for a couple of days. Well they didn't actually pay for their rooms but were comped from Total Rewards. I was shocked because rarely do I get free room offers from Cesar's but luckily my friends were hooked up. Me being me I couldn't be outdone and had to go with a mini-suite. It was enough room for me. The room had 2 bathrooms that were connected by a shower. The master bath had a Jacuzzi tub and a bidet. You need to try the bidet if you have never experienced one or have traveled to France. I lived in Europe for some time so it's nice to see these touches. FYI-you can always get an adapter for your own toilet at home depot or lowes. Okay, that was probably TMI on bidets. The room had plenty of closets, safe, and lots of room. The room does have a mini bar but the prices are outrageous. $7 for water, yeah right. There is a CVS across the street (diagonal from the hotel) where you can get all of your sundries, water, and beer. The crew and I ended up spending the eve up in my room b'sing and messing with the drunkest fools after a day of boozing. We got some pretty funny pics. I seriously thought we were going to get kicked out of the hotel but I guess Vegas being Vegas they let our antics slide. We were loud and obnoxious fools. The pool is one of the best I have visited in Vegas. Plenty of different atmospheres. There is a Euro style pool but I didn't check it out. We mainly stayed at the Neptune pool with the bar and the black jack tables in the pool. Those dealers were like Sirens in Homer's Odyssey. They kept calling us out with their songs to come over and play. They looked nice but took our $$$ quick. The drinks at the bar are way overpriced. I did have a few drinks. The mojitos were excellent. They will run you close to $30 for a large one. They have plenty of alcohol and will last a bit. If you're playing at the tables in the pool you will get comped drinks. There are tons of shops and restaurants. You basically never need to leave the resort. However, you probably will since you are a Yelper. I do recommend hitting up Sushi Roku upstairs in the Shoppes. They have a great happy hour. Cesar's is fun for people watching and having a great time. This last time there were a bunch of sorority girls passed out in front of the elevator to the tower I was staying at. I didn't have time for that so I kept on walking. Come stay and play at Cesar's Palace where you will have an unforgettable time. Just remember to drink and gamble responsibly. Just kidding, I don't give a Flying F what you do. Have a great time. Happy drinking!
