| - I THOUGHT in the past that this was a good Dr. I saw her at 3 to 4 different locations over the years! It was absolutely ridiculous! AND each time, my records were left if it had been a group, such as when she was shortly with Healthcare Partners.
Anyway, I saw her many times. She is knowledgable. She tends to speak very loudly and talk over you, but I could ignore that for expertise.
Well she put me on a medication other than steroids which I wanted to stay on as they made me feel the best. She felt long term that this other RX would be better and safer but may take a month or more to work. She was the Dr so I went with her opinion.
Well I started getting very very ill.. weak... breathless, my hair was falling out. She thought my vit b was low so she gave me another rx to raise the level. I got sicker AND MORE hair was falling out! I had lost half of what was on my head. An entire brush would fill up in one pass! Well I had to stop this rx due to a sx and eventually after almost two years! the hair stopped falling out. Well, I found out that I had a genetic variation where there was an error in the way I processed vit B, and the two RXs she was giving me were actually contraindicated for this variation.
When I went back to her and told her about it, so that she would know in case this ever happened with another patient, she was very cold to me. I did not blame her at all, nor was I rude or upset in any way. I thought I was actually quite gracious! Well as I showed her my clearly swollen elbows and knees, she looked at them and denied the swelling which was ridiculous, I couldn't even wear some tops due to the swelling my arms would not fit! She said she would not give me any arthritis rx at all and would run some labs and if they were normal I never needed to see her again! What?? OK! Strange! So a few days later I got a call from an office worker that told me my labs were normal. I knew there was no way they were. My labs had been abnormal for years! So I got my results from the office later to review. Not only were my labs abnormal but they were sky high AND my WBCs were almost 18!! My CRP was the highest it had ever been and my ESR and blahblah blah. I should have been sent to the ER for IV antibiotics and steroids. SHE had clearly lied. Her staff clearly lied as well. AND, I even said "Are you sure?" a couple of times. I knew even by how I felt that I was not "normal".
I cannot forgive them for putting me in danger. I am critically ill and things like this put me in the hospital very quickly. IN FACT, I had JUST been there and was told to follow up with a Rhuematologist. So I did.
I also like the other Reviewer, was not told after coming back to her that she would be moving once again.
At UNLV she was on my insurance but then dropped off for awhile and did not tell anyone. So I ended up having to pay cash and continue in cash until she went to Healthcare Partners, then she went to St. Rose Sienna AND I think there was another place! She has moved every year for the past four years!
What Dr. does this??
What was the problem everywhere?
This happens A LOT in Vegas.
BUT.... WHAT I WILL NEVER ACCEPT? IS A LIAR.
Maybe this was a favor and now I can find a real Dr that cares about me.
You know, she didn't even say sorry.
