We went at around 11:30am and they only had five or so croissants left. We weren't upset by this because we had never been here before. I found the owner to be extremely welcoming and helpful as he greeted us and explained what they made and offered. We couldn't help but laugh at the dopey girl at the register who asked my wife and I "are you two together?", while we had our arms wrapped around each other.
As far as the food goes, we ordered a couple of croissants, a Philly sandwhich, coffee and tea. I thought the food was pretty alright. I'm not used to the texture of croissants so the first bite seemed a little soggy for a sandwhich. The more I ate, I enjoyed it, but I don't think it's that great of a value for the $20 we spent.
The owner seems like a cool guy but I don't think this place has the best options if you are going out for a late brunch.
