I took both cats here for a second opinion on a rare condition, and both appointments were great. I wish we lived closer. We saw Drs. Ryan and Dutton, and I would trust my cats with either of them again.
I LOVE the separate cat entrance and waiting area -- it makes me feel like the clinic really values cats as pets. Several other vets we've been to have posters of dogs all over the clinic and smell like dogs and have dog food lining the walls. I just really liked that at Blue Cross, the visit felt very cat-focused. I'm not sure the cats appreciated it as much as I did (they still weren't thrilled to be there!), but it was very reassuring to me!
I haven't definitely decided, but I think we'll continue to go to Phoenix Dog/Cat/Bird, where I am perfectly happy with our vet (who is super caring and knowledgeable and nice), but I had a wonderful experience at Blue Cross, and if you live close enough to endure the howling on the ride there, Blue Cross is stellar!
