After finally getting settled in my house I have some time to write this review. Just purchased a home a few months ago and moved in to find out the laundry washer hoses were corroded on and tried a little to hard to get them off and bent/cracked copper piping above the nozzles which was a repair I was not familiar with. Also, not being familiar with plumbing services in the area and short of time to research for fear of water damage I called Parker and Sons thinking they were pretty reputable. They quoted me $550 to cut out 8x8 drywall square and cut out copper piping above the nozzles to put in a new washer box. I said yes cause of the water leaking. After it was done got a quote to replace the disposal which I knew how to replace myself just to see where their pricing is. They wanted to charge me $500 to replace it with an $85 insinkerator. I bought a $95 American standard from Costco 1.5 horsepower and did it myself. The wash box at Home Depot same model they used is $65. Drywall hand saw is $8. 2-6 inch copper piping pieces is $1 other materials about another 5-10$. $85 in material and literally 1 hr of labor $400 - no joke. After researching there are quite a few reputable small shops in the area that get GREAT reviews. Wish I would have had more time but it was an emergency and I went with the known name, bad choice could have saved myself $200-$300 dollars. My step dad later told me, "I hope you didn't use Parker and Sons because they ripped your mom off" and I said too late but I learned my lesson already and he just chuckled. Oh well.
