This is by far not the first car I have bought from a dealership. We all know the games. But we had a pre-financed offer from another dealer that Lamar at Midway said he would beat. So we took 3 hours of our Saturday to drive from Mesa to purchase the car. When we got there, Lamar would not honor the price he quoted. It was his plot to pull us off of another dealer's lot and try to charge $2,900 MORE than his competitor initially. After two 'meetings' with his manager (we watched him and 4 other employees just sitting in the 'managers' office) he came back and pathetically tried to explain that their definition of an "out the door price' does not include his hypothetical down payment. To call this a bait and switch does not do do justice to the term bait and switch. A bait and switch is half a step above a flat out lie. And what Lamar gave us was a flat out lie. Stay away. Go see Billy Belcher at Earnhardt Chevrolet in Chandler. He is as honest as honest gets.
