This is a great place to buy souvenirs if you are touring the Old Montreal area. We went on a Sunday so a lot of the shops were closed and only the main floor was accessible but it was a good stop to stock up on Maple items, we bought maple fudge, maple creme chocolate bars and cookies for souvenirs to take home. The prices are fair and they looked like gourmet maple products unlike those you found in logo stores or grocery stores.
We also appreciated the public restrooms and drinking fountain available inside the building. They even have a breathalyzer machine! That was certainly something I never saw before!
It was a short visit but we enjoyed sightseeing and warming up from the cold Montreal's November weather before we continued on to other places. The waterfront area across the street from Marche Bonsecours is very picturesque too! Great for photo opps!
