What I love about this place is the food is excellent, fresh and flavorful and the portion sizes are not blown out of proportion. I think this restaurant could just as easily be on the west side and probably do a higher volume of business, but I'm quite glad to have it right here on the east side.
Their salads are excellent and I discovered a wonderful brunch sandwich during a recent weekend morning visit. Coffee is from Kickapoo, which is some of the best around.
The bread, well, it's fresh bread from a bakery. Of course it's great. The new patisserie adjoining the restaurant has some beautiful desserts I'm excited to try soon.
