  • This place has been in business for over 50 years. The daughter of the original owner (now retired) owns and runs the shop. She has moved the original shop with many of its classic fixtures (chairs, mirrors and cabinets) into a newer, airy feeling location. Updated colors make the barbershop a more inviting and welcoming place than the original, while still maintaining a bit of its vintage history. It is truly a wonderful place to get a haircut. I get my hair cut by Sherry, the new owner and daughter of the original owner. She was raised in this shop. Her father actually cut MY father's hair! However, I can honestly say that after 40 some years of getting haircuts and styling done, that Sherry cuts my hair better and more consistently than any other barber or stylist I've ever gone to...and that includes living in California and also Seattle, Washington. The barbers at the Norwin Barbershop are personable - some have been working there since the place opened! But there are also younger, very talented barbers there as well. Professional, friendly, and priced at $14 for a regular haircut? Really, you just can't beat the Norwin Barbershop.
