| - I have very mixed feelings about my BrewPublik experience. I first became interested in the service when I saw their booth at the OMB holiday marketplace. When I saw an offer pop up on Groupon, I jumped at the opportunity. After taking a survey about my beer preferences and arranging a convenient delivery date, all that was left to do was wait.
My 24 pack (actually 18 beers and 2 bombers) arrived, and I was very pleased with the selections. Their beer matching system is excellent, and there wasn't a single beer in the assortment that I didn't truly enjoy.
Communication with the BrewPublik staff was quick and easy. For instance, I was able to reschedule my delivery time with ease. However, I was disturbed when my subscription to BrewPublik automatically renewed and my card was charged. There was nothing in the fine print on the Groupon page or BrewPublik's page about the subscription automatically renewing, so I thought this was pretty shady. I e-mailed BrewPublik and they issued a refund. One month later, I got another charge. Again, I e-mailed them, they refunded the charge, and this time they discontinued my subscription for good.
Overall, I would rate the service that BrewPublik provides as a 5/5 and communication as a 5/5, but the shady card charging dropped their rating for me. Personally, I liked the service, but with so many local breweries and great bottle shops in the area, it's really only necessary for those who want to try new beers but not go out and shop for them.
