| - TERRIBLE SERVICE. It's unfortunate I had to rate a 1 star to submit this review. My cousin and I went to Maxim's today and was waiting to be seated. I had crutches and she had a stroller. The staff behind the counter saw us but did not come to seat us. It was not busy. I guess there were some people seated that they knew, cause next thing we know, there was a lady coming out, so we thought she was going to seat us. But she ended up just chatting with the people instead. The girl behind the counter finally came and said "hello" to us as we were leaving. The staff did not seem to care about their lack of service, nor did management. To the management staff of Maxim, I hope you do read this review and resolve this issue with your staff, because you should know you are not the only bakery/cafe in the area, and at this rate, it won't matter if your meringue cakes are good. Your food and drink prices are too expensive for what you are serving, and if you continue on with the lack of service, pretty soon, your competition will over take you. I will not be returning here again. Business is all about word of mouth. I'm sure I'm not the only one here who feels this way about your poor service.
