| - On a whim over the weekend, I decided to get a cut and color as I was totally bored with my hair. Tried to get in to see someone at the Mosaic Salon on Eastern as it is closer to my house, however they had no openings on Saturday and are closed on Sundays. Not wanting to wait, I called the location on Rampart as they are open on Sundays and was able to get in Sunday afternoon. The woman answering the phone is so sweet and accommodating. She took down my information, what I wanted to have done and around what time I wanted to come in. She told me she would call me back to confirm the details. She called me back right away (barely 2 minutes) to let me know that I would be seeing Halee at 2PM. When I arrived for my appointment I was pleasantly surprised. The entrance is so inviting and the space is so open. Didn't hurt that they had a little boutique with super cute clothes to keep me occupied while I waited, which was not long. Halee came over to meet me and she is as sweet as can be! I usually don't know what I want to have done with my hair, and just say I want a change. Most stylists end up give me medium length hair with lots of layers. Halee was great at asking me questions, as well as looking at the pictures I saved on my phone that I randomly liked. She figured that I was sick of layers, and boy was she right. She got to work right away on mixing my color for highlights. She meticulously applied the color then whisked me off to a space aged looking contraption (seriously, like the Jetsons) for heat. Afterwards, Halee gave me the best hair wash and neck massage ever. Like if I could have that done everyday, I would. Back at her chair, Halee went to work on cutting my hair. Fabulous job! Exactly the change I was going for without me knowing it. She styled it perfectly, too. She explained she was drying it this way so she can see where there might need to be a little more precision in my cut so it will lay right for me once I style it at home. Love that way of thinking! I could not be happier with my hair. I have been jumping from stylist to stylist for years, not entirely happy with the way they do my hair. I think I have finally found my forever stylist! Totally worth the drive for me!
