Cryotherapy was recommended by my masseuse due to sore muscles. I decided to try the cryosauna, the local, and the cryofacial. It really helped some of the pain I had, especially around my ankle which has some kind of soft tissue injury. I noticed an overall sense of well being and relaxation. I did really like the procedures and will definitely be purchasing a package to see what repeated visits will do. I have already recommended cryotherapy to several people I know.
There were a few negatives. I noticed that most of the cold in the cryosauna is focused on the lower part of the body. There was no apparent benefit from my elbows up. I had really been hoping that the cold would have some impact on my upper mid back due to frequent pain I have there. Also, on the website, it states that after the cryofacial a firming lotion is applied. Apparently, that's an error, and I was told that it would be corrected.
The only other issue was one of privacy. While getting ready to exit the cryosauna I was exposed in my bra and panties to a man in the hallway because the young lady opened first the sauna door, then the hallway door before I was covered. It could just be a difference in attitude between a young lady in her twenties and a woman in her late fifties, but I decided that I'll make sure that never happens again.
