My 4 year old and I were in Lincoln square around lunch time and she smelled hotdogs so we decided to try piato out. I started looking at the menu and the woman at the counter rudely asked what we wanted. When I said we undecided she looked annoyed and walked away. I decides on the grilled cheese and my daughter asked for a hot dog and was told they don't have them. She got an individual pizza instead, which turns out is just 2 slices for some pizza that was already made up. If we had known that I propane wouldn't have ordered it. If they sold it by the slice I would have just got 1 slice. The tables were all filthy and they were not busy so it isn't like they didn't have time to wipe them off.
Then I found out that the piato too establishment across the way sells hot dogs. It would have been nice to know when my kid asked for one.
The only reason why I am giving 2 stars instead of 0 is that my sourdough grilled cheese was good and I like what they do for the community, they have a $5 buffet once a month they give the proceeds to charities around the area. Also I like that they have recycle bins for your drink bottles and cans.
