  • I was disappointed after reading all the great reviews. Here's the good and the bad: Good: the bun was terrific! soft, chewy, and very bready. Loved it. Not so good: the hot dog itself was so-so. No better than your typical vienna dog you would get at any hot dog stand. Wrapped in bacon? Not that I could tell. I didn't taste bacon at all. If you get the works - you better like mayonnaise. It overwhelmed the flavors of just about everything else. So why 3 stars? My two companions loved theirs. Also, the service was really good and they did have lots of toppings to try. Next time I will skip the mayo, ask for double bacon, and try my own toppings. Also - this was the first hot dog stand I've been to where they didn't ask to be paid when they handed you the food. It was more like a restaurant experience and that was nice.
