  • I am a woman of "a certain age" and wear a pixie but I'm very particular about how it is cut and because my husband and I travel in an RV I rely on Yelp to find a good place for a cut. I prefer barber shops that also cater to women as I seem to get the best cuts there. Well, I found Gladis and The Barber of Choix after reviewing barbers in our current location and boy did I score....I went in at 10 this morning and Gladis cut my hair. She really understood what I wanted and I left a very happy woman. No, it's not cheap like those chain places, but I was more than happy to pay a reasonable amount for a great cut. I love a razor cut but few stylists are comfortable doing it....I didn't even have to ask....she gave me a great razor cut. I am so glad I found this gem of a barber shop and will be returning next month before we leave for the summer. Did I mention the shop is spotlessly clean and attractively decorated in understated modern black and white.
