Tried to get a Lyft for my mother who is disabled so she could visit my father who has dementia and is in a nursing home. My mom has a small motorized scooter that can be broken down, the heaviest piece - the battery - is about 12 pounds. The first driver pulled up, saw my mom waiting on her scooter, turned around and left. Didn't even say anything to her and cancelled the ride. The 2nd driver they sent was unable to do it as well and asked me to cancel the ride. I did. Not having read the terms of service, because come on right? I was charged $5. The profile on the app shows she is disabled but there is no where on that app that I can put she has a small motorized scooter and needs assistance with it. So frustrating.
