| - Don't go to Curry on Murray if you are in a hurry. I mean, don't go here at all if you don't have the whole day to spend. The appetizers were good, we had the Thai Beef Jerky, Dumplings, Shrimp spring rolls and fresh spring rolls. All of these were pretty well executed but took half a century to actually get them.
The waitor was obviously new, nervous and stressed which stresses out patrons; All to which I say, chin up dude, be confident, you're doing just fine. The menu had a variety of dishes that looked alright but two of the three things I wanted and ordered were served ten minutes after i ordered them as a dissapointing "we don't have that/those today". That's fine for a chef's special, or a bbq joint that has limited supplies, but as a restaurant, you can't really bank on customers not ordering a thai staple mid-day.
So my sister gets her thai iced tea, filled about 3/4s of the glass and then our food came(about an hr after arrival). The green curry was decent but nothing special and was under seasoned for sure. It certainly needed salt and a lot of it. That being said it wasn't BAD, it just wasn't anything to write home about.
The somewhat dissapointing meal ended in frustration as we were a group of 7 and couldnt split the bill based on what we ordered, we instead had to evenly divide the bill into 7 equal-ish payments. So someone who had a $5 soup had a $20 tab.
It was the combination of poor/slow service, inconveniences and presenation that made the experience below average. The atmosphere isn't bad, but the food is served in cheap cheap bowls and dishes that just don't match the pricing, location or style of the restaurant.
