  • Can we just appreciate the perfection that is the tiger prawn tamale? For 2 of us, got the tiger prawn tamale to start and a spicy chicken sweet potato hash and romaine salad as entrees. As good as the spicy chicken sweet potato hash was (imagine a bbq tex mex eggs benedict), we kept wishing we just got more of the tiger prawn tamale. The tamale is very moist and fluffy with a good amount of sweet corn kernels for texture and the prawns were perfectly cooked in a creamy, but not heavy, sauce. The hash was quite delicious, but eating half of the dish was sufficient as the bbq spicy sauce + sweet potatoes is a bit too sweet and overwhelming for a brunch dish. Salad was a good balance to the hash with fresh lettuce and good dressing. 5 stars for that tamale that haunts my dreams.
