| - My friend and I came here for an afternoon of pampering while on vacation in Vegas. We had a car so we thought we'd try to get off the Strip and away from the overly-high prices. Lesson learned - you get what you pay for.
The spa was dirty, unprofessional and needed a "Tabitha Salon Takeover" badly!!! I wanted to leave before I even got started but was afraid they'd charge my credit card.
My massage was not bad at all, but it was in a tiny, cold room with no music so I could hear every single thing happening around me, including the couple yelling in spanish to each other for a solid half hour. No hook or chair to hang my clothes so I had to put my things in a little pile on the floor.
My poor friend had the worst facial of her life! The facialist was texting through the whole thing, jabbed her repeatedly with the lancet, and kept scratching her with her inch-long nails. Again, no music, no place to put her stuff and a really scratchy robe to cover up in.
After those services, we both got the special "my beautiful foot" pedicure, which was $70 and worth about $25. The women who did our feet were very nice, but kept talking to each other about personal stuff, ignoring the fact that we were trying to relax. Also, no massage (my favorite part), the foot masque stayed on about 3mins and they don't have a towel warmer so the towels got "warmed" under the tap. Polish colors were so old!!!
Don't be fooled by the nice website!!! If you're just visiting for a few days, spend the extra $$$ on the Strip - it's worth it!
