  • My parents have a large oriental rug with long fringe. They've had it cleaned twice by Carpet Star and it came out great both times. So when my wool oriental rug started to look and smell more like dog than rug I called. Steve responded right away and had a list of questions to make sure I was getting what I wanted, not just "how big is it?" He offered to do it in house which would result in not quite as thorough cleaning or take it to his shop and really do it right. My parents had theirs taken to the shop, mostly because of the fringe. Considering we have never treated this rug with the respect it deserved we decided not to start now and so had it cleaned it here. It came out beautiful. It hasn't been cleaned in the 12 years we've had it and I had a dog sitting business for a few years. Did I mention I'm not the best housekeeper? So I wasn't expecting miracles but God sent us Steve. I looks and smells amazing. If I ever get around to getting the wall to wall in the bedrooms done he will be my guy.
