  • I would like qualify my review by noting that I am an avid movie goer going to a average of a movie a week. My movie theater of choice is the Galaxy Luxury Theatre on Sunset and the only reason I chose to go to this theatre was because ere was no tickets available at galaxy for the movie I wanted to see. This will be the last time I go to this theatre for a few reasons. While I have no qualms paying a premium for this type of theatre experience, on all points this venue is more expensive than Galaxy for tickets, service fee and concession stand prices. In addition to having seats that are not as comfortable as spacious as Galaxy, $4.79 for a small Dasani water goes beyond absurd. And when I asked for a glass of wine, I was asked for my ID. While this may not sound strange I would like to point out that I am a 60 year-old man. Let's talk about absurd again. I left my ID in the car so when I explained to this to a very inexperienced supervisor he said it's against the law. So instead of providing service I decided I chose not to purchase and will take my money to their competitor in the future. Happily by the way.
