| - After dining at Flock & Fowl the other night, we had to check out Fat Choy and I'm so glad we did!
It wasn't too busy for a Saturday night around 7pm and we were able to sit down immediately. Both of the waitresses (I think one was an owner, Jenny, actually!) were warm and gave great service throughout our visit. They didn't mind that our entire group of 4 wasn't present and allowed us to order some appetizers while we waited. We ordered the pork belly bao, the pot stickers, and iced tea. I had been craving unsweetened iced tea and it had great flavor, FYI- totally satisfying. The pork belly bao was better than Momofuku and pretty much every other bao we've enjoyed in the valley! I can't wait to order it again. The pot stickers were also enjoyable.
Once our friends arrived, we ordered and our food came out in decent time (aka not too long of a wait) and everything was delicious! Our adult friend ordered the Cheesesteak sandwich and said she wished she could order another! My husband and I shared the duck bao and wonton soup with noodles. While I preferred the pork bao, the duck was good, too! We thought that our soup broth had a wonderful depth of flavor and enjoyed the vegetables and every component of our soup-- so good!
The dessert case had been staring us down all night, so of course we HAD to order some chocolate (double chocolate?) cheesecake! OMG. It was divine and we enjoyed every bite!
Overall, we received great service and found that we got a lot of bang for our buck! We will 100% return. Thank you.
