  • So far I have been extremely impressed with my experiences at The Wedding Cake Shoppe! When I lived in the neighbourhood, I regularly stopped by for a delicious cupcake and to browse their adorable selection of baking supplies for sale - though limited, everything is so cute! I've since moved out of the area and so regular visits have stopped, but as I'm now looking for a wedding cake it seemed like a logical place to explore, especially after some suggestions from our other vendors. When I walked in for my cake tasting, I noticed they have made some changes - I love their "cake wall" for lack of a better term, which displays some of their beautiful designs. We sat down and looked through their portfolio, which is quite extensive! I was very impressed with many of their designs and when we started to chat, it seemed like they could design the perfect cake for us! We tried 3 flavour combinations which were fantastic, and will be back to try their seasonal flavours when they arrive later this summer. While I'm waiting for my design currently, I can only imagine it's going to be fantastic - they seemed really willing to work to create our vision, and help us refine it - I love that they are so accommodating. So far this is been a 5 star experience that I couldn't wait to review, and I look forward to updating it as our relationship with them develops!!
