| - I wish Yelp had a zero stars option, specifically for this place. I was referred by my son's pediatrician. She called doctor-to-doctor to get us in as quickly as possible as my son's constipation was getting worse. They were able to get us in 2 months later, instead of the initial appointment which was 3 months away. I have a high-deductible insurance plan so my portion was going to be $370 just for the office visit, which seemed extremely high even for a specialist. We were almost to the office on the morning of the appointment after anxiously waiting two months, and received a call that their computer system was down. They cancelled the appointment. Can you imagine if an ER's computer system went down, and the doctor's told people they couldn't be seen as a result? I cannot wrap my head around a human not being able to see a child because of a computer - something is wrong with this picture. In fact, we saw our pediatrician the next morning, and she said that their computers went down that morning, yet it was still business as usual - imagine that. The lady on the phone told me they would call me the next day to reschedule, but it was not guaranteed I would be able to be seen the very next day. I never heard from them again. Hmmm...their computers still must be down. I immediately got on the phone, and called basically the only other Pediatric GI place/doctor in Las Vegas - Dr. Sheikh who was able to squeeze us in the very next day. Oh, and his contracted rate with my insurance was $130 - that's a $240 difference. So not only does this place not care about you as a parent, or your children's problems, they also charge you more than double.
