| - I'm a huge fan of NoDa's beers, but this is the first time that I have been to their new, expanded brewery/taproom. Arrived a little after 9, so some of the crowd was starting to clear out. Parking was easy and well marked. We entered across the huge patio that apparently they have recently paved (according to my fiancee). Plenty of outdoor seating, although I'm sure it will be hard to come by once the temperatures warm up.
It was a mild night last night, so they had the big bay doors open into the taproom. Once again, lots of seating for everyone and a large bar to disperse the crowd trying to order drinks. I also did not anticipate the large array of selection that they offered. I'm used to just seeing Hop Drop, Jam Session, and a couple other choices in local stores.
My fiancee went with her ol faithful, a Jam Session, but I opted for a new offering of the Satsuma IPA. Definitely a great choice with some citrus tones that did not over power the underlying hops. We only hung around for one drink as they close up at 10, but will definitely be getting a group together soon to head back over.
