  • I brought my car in on December 8th for what should have been at most, a two week repair. I finally got it back today, 72 days later. It appears that the owners were going through a divorce at the time I dropped it off and I'm guessing no one could foresee what was about to happen. I was dealing with Carl, who is a really cool guy overall. I understand that it all fell on the shoulders of the employees to explain to their customers what was happening and why the delay, but that doesn't excuse the fact that I never received timely phone calls keeping me updated, I had to call to find out what was happening....not good customer service. I was repeatedly told the same thing over and over which was "we are still waiting on parts". After about a month, I was finally told the truth about the divorce and that all the money was frozen by lawyers. Ok, again, things happen right? Well, for the next month I was told that they were still waiting on parts and to keep the rental I was in and that they would be picking up the tab on it, that seemed very fair to me. I went in today to meet Carl and pick up my car, handed him the insurance check and then asked what he can do about my deductible. They had already taken off $400 plus as of yesterday, another $100 as a good gesture, but that still wasn't good enough for me. You had my car for 72 days, the company was dishonest from the beginning, I never received updates...not as often as I would have liked anyway, so yeah, you gotta do better than that. So I asked him what we could do about the $500 I still owed, he said what do you have in mind, I said $250 sounds good, he came back with $300, deal I said. If you do the right thing now, I'll have no problem being a future customer...and he did. It's not Carl's fault that his bosses screwed up, he was thrown to the wolves. I'm sure there's a lot of lessons that they all can learn from this, above all though, it's the customer who comes first and should be treated appropriately. As for my car, they did a great job! The work was as expected and I have no complaints! Would definitely use them again because everyone deserves a second chance...thanks Carl!
