I live a good 30-minute drive from the nearest Costco, so I was happy to discover Sam's Club here in Surprise. Prices are good, and in many cases, you don't have to buy a huge container of a particular item--sometimes multiple individual cans/jars shrink-wrapped together, but that's OK. My only real complaint involves the store hours--opening at 10 a.m. (9 a.m. on Saturdays) is just way too late during an Arizona summer. Local sunrise in June is just after 5 a.m., and many people like to get things done early when it is still cool. An opening time of 7 a.m. or even 8 a.m. would be a great thing--and it would have me shopping there far more frequently.
