  • This much anticipated review has been postponed for some time due to Terry's craft being too sensational to put adequately into words. He is just that good. My boyfriend and I have been to a couple places like this in Las Vegas but Oak and Ivy is somethin' special. The bar seating is LIMITED but there is a cute patio deck and rooftop seating. We find ourselves favoring seats at the bar because watching your drink being made here is equally as satisfying as drinking it. The cocktails here are adventurous yet sophisticated.. and witty yet divergent. Attempting to not put too much jelly in my review (feels like I'd just be spoiling it) I'll add we are partial to Terry for being an excellent conversationalist and possessing creative brilliance, but I'm sure they're all great! I recommend a "brown paper bag" aka "yard sale" aka bartenders choice. You pick a flavor profile and spirit or just completely give them the reigns and they'll whip you something up! I do this often and have never been disappointed. Just a side bit: My boyfriend thinks they have the best smoked whiskey sour around. ;) So glad we found this place and we hope you find your way there too!
