  • I was sooo excited for Matcha House to open since I'm the biggggggest fan of everything matcha. It is so cute inside with all the green furniture and tea-related decals on the wall. It looks like a calm place to sit and relax, study a little bit, play board games. I'm definitely not used to the legit matcha (that costs like $7-8... I decided to try the matcha latte and it was very earthy. Like I said, not what I'm used to. It wasn't bad but it wasn't amazing. After that drink, I didn't think I'd be back. But I did come once more and got the peach black tea with the cheese mousse. I was a bit hesitant about the cheese mousse... "cheese? On tea? I dunnnooo..." But hey, let's try it. I'm so happy I tried it because it's probably the best topping ever invented! The cups have a little lid that you just sip from and get that hint of cheese with your tea. Trust, it's good! I also tasted he very berry matcha, and it's very berry delicious and refreshing. You have to try that one, too! I have to come back and try the tiramisu mousse next! Lesson learned: you gotta get out of your comfort zone and try something new!
