Went into Benjamin's a few weeks ago and had a decent dining experience. It's a smaller restaurant and it makes for an intimate setting to have a meal. I ordered BBQ wings for an appetizer and they were some of the best I've ever had. The meat was literally falling off the bone. I just wish the serving size was slightly larger.
As for the burger, it too was one of the best I've ever had. Ordered the Kentucky bourbon burger and everything about it was perfect. The patty itself tasted incredibly fresh, the bun was buttered and very light and the toppings on the burger were all very good.
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the service. Our server, a younger woman, took our order and didn't check back in with us after the appetizer was brought out. I wanted to order a beer with my burger but another employee brought us our meal. We didn't see our original server until she brought us our bill, which was 25 minutes after we got our food. A little frustrating but things happen, will consider coming back again sometime.
