  • Absolutely wonderful place. They do what they can for the animals. It is the sick folk that drop off their unwanted animals that are the villains here. NEVER purchase a bird or any exotic unless you absolutely know for sure that you will be able to care for that animal. People drop off these pets at the sanctuary bc of irresponsible decision making with getting the pet in the first place. The individuals that run this wonderful place take in these animals without question and do their absolute best to care for them. These reviews that display less than 5 stars have absolutely zero idea of the sheer blood, sweat, and tears put into this facility. They love the animals. Every single one of them is loved, and the best is done for them. You have absolutely no room to talk unless you've spent 8 hours scrubbing each cage, feeding each animal, providing necessary medications, providing enrichment to each animal, and doing your best to make the lives of all the animals at this sanctuary a little more bearable. You're sick to think you have any idea of what goes on here and to judge it out of ignorance.
