It was like a new experience! My husband and I showed up without reservations and were quickly seated. He had a beer; I stuck with water. He loved the French Onion soup. I really enjoyed the pear and roasted beet salad--perfect sweetness from beets, pears, and candied walnuts with the cheese. I convinced hubby to get sea bass, and it was amazing. Rich and buttery from the fatty fish. The slaw and rice weren't drowning in dressing like before--the cabbage was crisp and not overpowered. I got the sea scallops (waitress recommended this over barramundi) and it was spot on. Perfect sear, perfect doneness, perfectly seasoned. Balsamic reduction on grilled asparagus was complementary to the richness of the spring pea risotto. Cappuccino creme brulee. Nailed it... topping crispy and caramelized instead of the soggy mess of my last visit. Seriously like night and day from my before. Glad I returned! Will definitely return :)
