| - I went to Tiffany's based on the reviews and because two nail spas I usually go to did not have an appointment that day.
During the experience, I has happy with it. It's a clean place, with massage chairs, communication is OK, service is fine.
I was recommended normal manicure-pedicure with DuraLux ( extra durable , $10 more) because I did not want shellac that day.
Here goes. Maria ( I think her name was Maria) used rough file on the surface of my nails and did not clean them off well, so some 'dust' remained on them. Covered by elegant red nail polish, Surface of the manicured nails did not look smooth. Less than 24 hours later, polish chips off on 2 nails. Note I was careful about my nails, as usual. When I washed off the nail polish, I was left with red horizontal lines, and had a hard time getting red out of the scratches. My nails look bad. Pedicure looks ok, but it is not what people see on the date.
So, I rarely leave bad reviews, I understand it can impact business's bottom line, but I have never had such an experience in any other place I went. My normal manicure can last 3-6 days, and certainly my nails have never been that damaged.
