| - Hovering between a 3 and a 4...the workout is great but the corporate policies can be obnoxious.
Workout: 1 hour of high intensity exercises alternating between free weights, TRX, treadmills (there is 1 elliptical and 1 bike for ppl unable to use treadmill), and rowing machines. The video screen indicating your heart rate is fantastic for motivating yourself and makes it easy to really track your progress. It's great to check your email a few minutes after class and get your performance summary. The Orangetheory app makes it very easy to sign up for classes on the go. Signing up requires that you buy the Orangtheory heartrate monitor, which ONLY works with Orangetheory software, although you may be able to sync your chest strap with a 3rd party heart rate monitor such as a Polar watch (haven't tried it myself)
As for the rest, the sales pressure is annoying. If you try out a free class or get on their mailing list at all, they will call and email you frequently. Some of their customer service questions they will not answer via email, and when I mentioned this policy in a customer service survey, I was given the reply that it was a corporate policy. It's the modern age, folks, I don't have time to play voicemail tag! It seems like they're always pushing you to sign up a friend, do a paid competition, etc.
Stay for the workout, get irked by the policies.
