rev:text	I have been here a couple of times now so I feel comfortable in saying that this is a solid comedy club. I have enjoyed the comics and the drinks, and each night has been a good time. I have gotten some of the food and it's edible. As I have said in other reviews, I firmly believe in judging a spade only as a spade, and to me a comedy club should be judged on the diversity and quality of its comic and that's about it. I have never gone to a club for its menu, service, or ambience. In fact, I except clubs to be dingy, to have mediocre food, and to serve decent drinks, at best. So with that in mind, I think this is a 4-star comedy club. For instance, the Punch Line in Atlanta is a famous comedy club. Many comics, such as Patton Oswald, have performed their numerous times in their career. On a good day it looks like its fighting off a mold infestation. However, its a wonderful place and I'll go time and again. Anyway, this place is dark and in the basement of a dingy hotel. There is ample parking. You can buy well drinks for about $7 and $1 more gets you slightly better liquor. The food menu is basic but edible. If you're looking for fine dining, maybe you should try someplace in the area and then come to the Comedy Cave. The service is also just ok - I don't think I have seen more than two wait staff at any given time. I would definitely check out their website as they list the comics that are coming up. You can watch their videos and see who you like. I think it makes the experience better if you actually enjoy the comedy. :-) or you can roll the dice - its $10 per ticket (and $5 some nights) so it's a great way to get out of the house for less than the cost of a movie.
