Just spent a weekend here for a bachelorette party and found the hotel to be very nice with a fantastic spa. Mediterranean feel with the tiled terra cotta roofs and grounds were expansive and gorgeous without being too sprawling. There are outdoor firepits and many tables, lounge areas to enjoy the view of Camelback Mountain and sip on a cocktail.
The weekend started off with a mix-up on hotel rooms (we were supposed to get 2 rooms with 2 beds in each but the gave us one room with one queen bed and another room with 2 beds) but Jennifer, the manager on duty solved our problem and put us in the Presidential Suite.
Initially we weren't too happy with the response of the front desk staff to our dilemma because they suggested that they could give us cots, so best to speak with the manager.
The spa was great and rivals the Phoenician, if not better. Downside of the property was that there were too many kids splashing around in hot tub with noodles, rafts and volleyballs. Would definitely go back!
