This is the second time we've lived here at Club Cancun and we really do love it. I absolutely DO recommend this place to others and do so when my friends ask me about our property. We left to casa grande (don't do that) and came right back to Club Cancun. Things we love:
-Pool is always really clean and pool furniture is good condition
-grounds are always maintained and the grass is always green
-maintenance is very quick to respond to work orders (even when we keep missing them!)
-interior is nicely done, with plush carpet and wood-floor looking linoleum.
-fans are balanced and even
-Patios are very sizeable.
-office staff is always professional and helpful
-maintenance guys are nice!
-location is AMAZING, it's pretty central to everything
-aesthetic gets updated when it's looking drab to keep it looking like a nice community
-Neighbors have been quiet and respectful almost all the time (except the last few months of last year... Bye Alex, we don't miss hearing you fight with whoever she was)
-other than that, no problems with neighbors and office staff has always been professional in handling things.
-can't hear through the walls. (We knew his name was Alex because she yelled at him from the balcony lol)
-BBQs are always clean and working. Residents seem to take care to clean them off each time.
-the gym has a good amount of workout equipment!
-you can rent movies from the office and they switch out the movies weekly. Pretty sweet
-you can use the computer in the club house
Things we don't like:
-the computer in the club house is not always that fast. It's good for most things but I think it can smell when you're stressed or in a hurry...
-parking. Only one spot assigned for a two-bedroom. Boo. And I don't know WHAT the deal is but I have witnessed several people move their vehicle from their assigned spot into the open spot closest to their apartment. Presumably so they can monitor their vehicle? I don't know but I wish they'd at least let me know so my husband can use their spot!
-no dogs allowed (unless they're service dogs).
-Verizon service is REAL spotty as soon as you pull into the parking lot. Thank God for wifi calling etc, but still. Not CC's fault (I don't think...) But, just be aware.
-small toilets. Yeah.... You don't think about it until you have a tiny toilet seat. I miss our old elongated toilets (a sentence I never knew I would type...) I dislike it almost enough to ask if I can by our own toilets and install them. Almost.
-closet doors, although pretty, are pretty irritating because they come off-track. They also don't leave enough room between the three doors to get into each side entirely. We just removed them and use them as a mock headboard for our King bed. Works out MUCH better. Planning on putting up nice curtains instead. (Don't worry office people, they go right back on as if they were never off)
-no ceiling fan in the dining area. It gets surprisingly hot in that area, especially with the windows being there and after cooking.
